For those who would like to pay your last respect to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, you can either do it a the Parliament house or at a community site near you.

Parliament House

The lying in state at Parliament House will be open 24 hours daily from 25 Mar 2015, 10am until 28 Mar 2015, 8pm.

The direction of the queue is from the direction Asian Civilisation Museum to the parliament house and it snakes all the way across the Cavenagh Bridge to the other side of the Singapore River.

The queue now starts at City Hall and snakes along the Padang leading to the Parliament House.

The current waiting time as at 5.00pm on 25 Mar 2015 is 8 hours. The public is advised not to join the queues for now.

The current waiting time as at 1pm on 27 Mar 2015 is 8 hours. Members of the public are strongly advised not to join the queue at the Padang now.

It is advisable to queue late at night as the air is cooler and the queue should be shorter.

There will be ground personnel distributing water and also the Condolence cards to those waiting in line. Those with flowers can also lay them at the condolence boards along the Promenade. Flowers are not allowed into the Parliament House and no photography is allowed inside as well.

How to Get There
