IMM – A Shopping Paradise in the West
For those who lives in the West especially near Jurong East, you will be familiar with this great shopping mall – IMM. It has almost all the things you need to satisfy everyone in the family from shopping, food and fun. In this article, we will focus on the Children Playground which many will not know if you have not been there lately.
IMM is conveniently located near the Jurong East MRT Intechange . It has over 240 retailers providing a wide range of products and services. It is a one stop mall for furniture, interior design and wedding needs; almost all home renovation essentials, furnishings, furniture and fittings can be found under one roof at IMM.
There are also the Giant hypermarket and several other “lifestyle” stores like Best Denki, Daiso, Sony Style cater to just about every shopping whim and need. Adding more excitement to the mall, a total of 10 factory outlets were introduced to extend everyday offers and bargains to shoppers. They include fashion, sports & accessories labels – Timberland Outlet Store, Esprit Outlet, G2000 Outlet, i-Outlet (Crocs), Giordano Outlet, Bossini Outlet, 25-Hour Outlet, Factory Direct Sale and New Balance Outlet, and Samsonite Outlet that caters to travelers needs at a fraction of the usual price.
For food lovers, you will be spoilt with choices as there are more than 46 F&B outlets spoil shoppers with the wide variety of choices available. There are restaurants serving up international cuisines, fast food and also all-time local favorites. The outlets include Hoshi Japanese Restaurant, Bali Thai, Long Beach Seafood, Bagus Food Court, Fish & Co, MOS Burger, McDonald’s, Long John Silver, Burger King and many more food kiosks.
IMM Children Playground
While you are doing the shopping, the children can enjoy themselves too. The playground is divided into the wet and dry playgrounds and it is located on Level 3 in the open air.
Although it is in the open air, it is sheathed from the sun by the large translucent canopy above the playground. In the same playground, there is toilet and water cooler so it is very convenient for the children to drink more water and do their business.
The dry playground attracted kids with slides, tunnels, monkey bars, balancing beams and children exercise stations.
If your child or you don’t mind your child getting wet, they could have lots of fun at the wet playground. They can run and hide under many water spray structures and shooting water using the water cannon.
And the Admission for this playground is FREE!

Free parking for the first 3 hours makes it attractive to shop at IMM. Parking is less of a hassle at IMM since there are more than 1,300 car park lots are available. Chargeable after 3rd hour of 1st entry daily or subsequent same-day entry @ $1.07/hr & $0.30/15min.
