If you ask me what is one of the most favorite pastime for Singapore, the answer will be SHOPPING!

Shopping is definitely one of Singaporean’s favorite hobby and now is the Singapore shopping festival, the Great Singapore Sales, which lasts for two months!

As most of you know, Singapore is really a true shopaholics paradise where you could find all the world-renowned brands opening up their stores here.  Every year, new shopping centers are popping up in nearly every corners of Singapore and Singaporean as well as tourists seems never get enough of them.  During this GSS event, it entitles shoppers to some great discounts and special offers in a great number of shops in Singapore’s many well maintained air-conditioned malls and retailers.  There are also many special events such as competitions, lucky draws and live entertainment adding to the mix.

  4. Talking about shopping, I am most vulnerable working near mega shopping centres. Used to buy lots of personal stuff but now more inclined towards kids' and family items.

    Hey, I was lucky that our car was not drowned in the flood at Orchard Road that day *oops*. Otherwise, my poor car engine 🙁

  5. Yep, it is always pros and cons working near shopping areas.  You can do your chores and shopping during lunchtime but you will spent more.   :*

  6. Yeah! Sale in Singapore. I love to shop in Singapore. Although the prices are kinda same like in Malaysia, but you certainly have more of choices there 🙂  

  7. I love to shop also in Malaysia as there are thing you may not find in Singapore…locally made that is special 😉

    However, during Malaysia sales session, can find good bargains in the shopping centers.  Else you are right, the price and things are almost identical in both countries in the shopping centers.
