TGIF and it is the Children’s Day! For this, I will recommend some activities for you to bring your children to enjoy the day. Hopefully you will enjoy the recommendations and have fun with your child. MOST activities are FREE!

Children’s Day Colouring Competition
For: Children (5-8 Years Old)
Join us for our annual Children’s Day colouring competition for children aged 5 – 8 years old. Non-competitive colouring is also available for younger children.

Down Memory Lane: Traditional Games
For: Children
Join us for an afternoon of old traditional games like five stones, congkak, hopscotch, snakes & ladders and more.

Games Bonanza
For: Children
It’s going to be fun at the Playhouse as we bring a mini Carnival to you! Crash the jungle party at BEAN MANIA or see if it’s your lucky day at the Hoopla ; it’s your choice! With loan receipt of 4 books dated 9 September – 1 October 2010 from Tampines Regional Library, you’ll get to choose and play at any one of the available game stations.

The Snails Story: Facts & Fiction
For: Children (7 – 9)
Listen to a story, make a craft and discover the fascinating world of snails. An hour programme full of activities and games. Please bring along your scissors, staplers and colour pencils.

Venue: Everest Room in Woodlands Regional Library

Adventure in the Rainforest
For: Children (7 – 10)
What mysteries lie in the rainforest ? Why are the trees so tall and huge and what creatures call out from the treetops? Join us for a virtual hike through the rainforest as we play games and discover a whole new world.

Time: 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Venue: Changi/Simei Room in Tampines Regional Library

Alive Gallery
For: Whole Family 
Editor’s Choice
You have seen those moving portraits in the Harry Porter’s Movies. Now, you can see the world’s renowned artworks coming alive at this interesting gallery. Renowned artworks such as Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper and Mona Lisa comes alive at the Alive Gallery. You can encounter moving and talking characters and start talking back to the artworks!

Huggies® Little Swimmers @ Wild Wild Wet
For: Children ( 6mth to 3 years old)
Bring your little one down to Wild Wild Wet at Downtown East for exciting water activities. Bring up to 4 family members (including you and your child) with a nominal fee paid for your child. Light snacks and juices for babies are provided and participants get to trot home with a goody bag worth over S$60.

Rainbow Bear
