December School Holiday Camps For Kids

Children will love these camps and what makes these camps interesting is that they are fun and they will get new experiences and new friends along the way. Kids loves animals and here are some recommendations that will get your kids to learn more about animals in the wild. While there are many programmes which are called camps, listed here are only those with interaction with nature. I love these camps as most of them allow the whole family to participate and they are good opportunities for some quality family bonding time.

1. Birds Quest

For: 7-12 years old. Children Only!

Your kids will experience up-close encounters with feathered friends and hands-on bird-keeping experience at the Jurong Bird Park for a 2 day children-only Bird Quest. Not only will they be able to see how do the vets take care of the bird collection, they will also be able to dine at the scenic Songbird Terrace looking at the flock of beautiful Flamingo. They will be be taken to the World of Darkness tour and also an exclusive peek behind-the-scenes to learn about incubation of eggs and care for young birds.

When: 3 and 4 Dec (2 Days)

2. Sleeping With Penguins Family Camp

For: Whole family.

Do you ever fancy sleeping next to Penguins? I would love to and I am sure many children would put up their hands too. The highlights on this programme is of course get to pitch tents and sleeping with the Penguins!!!! This 2 day 1 night programme will have few guided tours, series of mind-stimulating activities that involve family fun and participation. At night, you will ends with merriment and supper at a Camp fire.

When: 12 and 13 December. (2 days 1 night)

3. Sleepover Family Camp At Underwater World Singapore

For: Whole Family. (Child must aged 6 or older)

Could you imagine sleeping with sharks, giant stingrays, giant groupers, dugongs and other fascinating sea creatures? Now you and your child will have a chance to sleep and camp with them for a night!

This is a rare and a different experience for the whole family. Other activities include a
conservation talk, an ocean discovery tour, and an exclusive session at Dolphin Lagoon.

When: From Dec 5 and Dec 30 (2 days 1 night)

Venue: Sentosa, Underwater World.

4. Overnight Family Safari Camp At Singapore Zoo

For: Whole Family. (Child must aged 6 or older)

This must be the ultimate and closest experience that you can get in Singapore to live with the wild animals. You get to pitch your own tent and camp overnight at the Singapore Zoo, spending a whole night with the animals. You also get
behind the scenes, learn about the workings of
the zoo, and maybe even touch some of the
animals! After a tour of the Night Safari, it’s
campfire time.

When: 5 Dec and 6 Dec (2 days 1 night)

Venue: Singapore Zoo.
