Workshops on Handicrafts and Art for Kids

Have you observed that your kids actually like to do arts and crafts?

There are many courses here that may be suitable for your children.   Be it crafting a balloon into different shapes and things,  making pop-up Electronic Music Card,  making photo frame or building own pencil holder,  there will be something new and interesting for them to pick up during this holiday.

Balloon Craft For Parent and Child

For:  Parents and Kids (7 –12). 

I have always wanted to try my hands on bending those long balloons into different animals shapes or funny characters.   What I only managed is the same oval shape or get it burst

However, your child can now learn how to do it during this workshop and could use this new learnt skill to entertain in many occasions.   Together, you and your child will discover the excitement of twisting and shaping ordinary balloons into various amusing animal characters. Be amazed at what you will learn to make in just one lesson. Participants are advised to bring their own pumps, unless you have a big lung

Fun With Beads

For: Child (5 –12)

Learn how to make their one-and-only kind of design for their own necklace and bracelet.    They could mix and choose from different types of beads and stone available.   This skill comes in handy when they can make  gifts for their friends or loved ones and wear something that is totally unique and nice.

Pop-Up Electronic Music Card

For: Child  (Age 8 – 16)

Ever wonder how a pop-up card is made? Or analyze the electronics hidden behind musical greeting cards? Learn to make your own version of the pop-up musical greeting card which will be heart-warming for anyone to receive them during special occasions.

This course teaches you the secrets of circuits as you assemble components into a pop-up birthday or Christmas card. It’s science, paper engineering and fun all rolled into one.

Handmade Pencil Holder

For: Child  (Age 8 – 11)

Learn to build your own unique pencil holder using recycled materials they can easily find at home. They will be using cloth, beads, magazine paper, ice cream sticks and other provided materials to create the pencil holders.   Bring along your own scissors, UHU glue, adhesive tape, ruler, pencil and eraser.

Handmade Photo Frames

For: Child  (Age 6 – 12)

Isn’t it nice to have your vacation photo placed into a photo frame that was handmade by your child?  Let your kid have fun making their own photo frame and they could use recycled materials at home. They can use cloth, beads, magazine paper, ice cream sticks and other provided materials to create the photo frames.   Bring along your own scissors, UHU glue, adhesive tape, ruler, pencil and eraser.

Terrarium Making Workshop

For: Child  (Age 6 – 12)

Your kid will have loads of fun creating their own terrarium which is a miniature landscape of compatible plants grown in an enclosed or partially enclosed see-through container.   Plants, soil and the different types of stones will be provided by the trainer.
