If you are interested in the latest airplanes and latest aerospace technology, why don’t come down to Singapore Airshow 2010 this Saturday?   You and your family will have a roaring good time with the powerful jet engines roars across the Singapore sky.

It is Asia’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition since first held in 2008.   This year, the 30 hectares show site has also a 400,000 sqm of exhibition hall.  It features more than 800 exhibitors from over 40 countries, including 62 of the top 100 aerospace companies, such as Boeing, EADs, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Rolls-Royce.

airshow2The AirShow had already started since beginning of this week on 2nd February.   However, don’t be alarmed as the first 4 days of the airshow are dedicated to trade visitors.  You and your family are  welcomed to view this grand event on the last two days,  Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 February.

 

You will be able to catch the exciting 60-minute aerial display which is the highlight of the event.   This year, there is an addition of another 30-minute aerobatic flying display.  There will be the exciting-sounding “Dump and Burn” show by the F-111 strike aircraft from the Royal Australian Air Force.  Furthermore, the United States Air Force’s A-10 Thunderbolt II will be making its Asian show debut, while the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will be unveiling its PC-21 for the first time at the show.

See daredevil pilots pushing their machines to the limit, performing amazing aerobatic stunts that require extreme concentration and split-second timing. Be wowed by the sheer elegance of the spectacular planes and let the extreme flying machines take your breath away.

Note: In the event of inclement weather, the flying display may be cancelled.

For those aircraft lovers, there will be other aircraft on show including the RSAF’s AH-64 Apache and F-16 Falcon, while the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 and T-50 Golden Advance jet trainers among the line-up.

Tickets for the show, for 6 and 7 February, are available from $8 to $20 from Sistic. All ticket prices displayed here exclude S$1 SISTIC booking fee, but include a two-way Airport Shuttle Bus transfer from Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 2 & 3 Coach Stand.
