Exciting December School Holiday Programme – Cooking And Baking

Lots of Tasty Workshops turn your little kids at home into BIG chef. Be prepared to cleanup your kitchen after their return from these workshop and be their guinea pigs for their new try-out recipe.

1. ICE-Cream Making – 3 Flavours

For: Child  (Age 5 -12)

Your child can be a Little Ice-Cream Chef, using low fat milk and natural ingredients to make ice-cream flavours that are low in sugar! Kids will learn how to measure the ingredients for the ice-cream and make 3 different flavours (chocolate,
strawberry and corn) without an ice-cream maker. That means anyone can make ice-cream at home. They’ll enjoy scooping it into little cups to bring home for freezing and then the best part… eating!

2. Healthy Bento Set

For: Child  (Age 7 -12)

In this class, participants will learn to use natural ingredients
to make their own healthy and yummy bento sets. They will
be pleased at both the taste and the colourful presentation
of their creations. This is an ideal class for kids to explore creativity through the world of culinary arts.

3. Egg Tart & Fresh Fruits Tart

For: Child  (Age 6 – 12)

to whip up delicious and mouth watering egg tarts and fresh fruits tarts. Conducted by our culinary art trainer, this
workshop provides an interesting insight to two teatime treats
that will appeal to kids.

4. Yummy & Healthy Muffins!

For: Child  (Age 6 – 12)

Your child can make tummy-fillers that are tasty and healthy
to eat like Blueberry Muffins and Oatmeal Muffins. Blueberries
contain a variety of phytochemicals, antioxidants and are also rich in many vitamins and minerals, including calcium,
magnesium and zinc. Oats is high in dietary fibre and proven to lower cholesterol. So let them appreciate healthy eating the fun way.

5. Parent – Child Gingerbread Man & Cookie Trees Baking

For: Child  (Age 6 – 12)

gingerbread man It’s time to get ready for Christmas and with this baking
class, you will wow your friends and family with your best cookie creations. Watch the trainer demonstrate the art of cookie dough making, cutting and baking. Then get into the real fun of decorating your cookies and bringing them home to treat your loved ones!

6. Healthy Doughnuts Making

For: Child  (Age 7 – 12)

Love doughnuts but feel guilty about eating too many?
Ordinary doughnuts are greasy and fattening but in this
class, kids will learn to make their own healthy and delicious
version by baking instead of deep-frying the donuts. Kids
will also get to decorate them with yummy toppings. The
best part is, the toppings will be healthy ones too!

7. Let’s Bake Christmas Cookies!

For: Child

As the festive season approaches, how about gifting your friends and loved ones (and even Santa Claus!) with an edible present you’d made all by yourself? Join us for a fun-filled cookie making session! Not only do you bake your own Christmas cookies, you’ll also get to find out what special ingredients (from plants) are used to add those distinctly special flavours and smells to all things Christmas!

When : Dec 12 – Dec 16 2009.
