It will be fun time for children in Singapore during May and June when most of them have finished their mid-year exams and starting their relaxing period of school holidays.  The Singapore Art Museum (SAM)will host its inaugural Children’s Season in May which is good timing for young people to participate in.  They will be introduced to contemporary art in an interactive, supportive and fun family environment.

When you step into SAM 8Q, you will notice that it transformed into art garden 2magical art gardens showcasing artist projects and artworks inspired by nature.  Selected for their imagination and interactivity, these displays will be accompanied with captions to engage young visitors with the art works.

Young Children can use the activity sheets inspired by the art works to enhance their learning experience. Young visitors can also participate in a series of artists’ workshops and enjoy short film screenings.

Do not miss out on other activities such as Read a picture book or learn more about art at our Book Corner.  Enjoy more hands-on activities at the Programme Space.
