Nestlé  – Health & You 2010

Explore the Nestlé Town with Nestlé fun map and celebrate the Good Life with Nestlé in this Singapore’s biggest health and wellness event!  There is no other health exhibition which caters for young and old.  There are more than 12 unique experiential towns for you and your family to explore.

There are many exciting activities which will appeal to all in the family at the event which include:

• Free photo-taking at the Capture Your Good Times booth by NESCAFÉ® and Kit Kat

• Children activities:  an infant gym, a toddler play area, a meet-and-greet session with Koko Krunch and MILO® mascots, a Cheerios reading corner supported by partners, National Library Board and NTUC Fairprice

IGNITE Music Festival 2010

IGNITE! Music Festival is an annual, student-driven music festival by Republic Polytechnic (RP) that happens in the month of July.  Follow its successful run for the past 2 years, IGNITE! Music Festival is here again this year on the 2nd & 3rd July 2010.

IGNITE! Music Festival is an outdoor free event, filled with good original local music in a great setting.  Every year, they invite many of the best local bands such as Electrico, A Vacant Affair and The Great Spy Experiment.  Every night, the festival is packed with nightly crowd of more than 3000 audiences enjoying the great music and great bands.

This year IGNITE! Music Festival will feature bands such as:

• The Marilyns
• Replug
• Plainsunset
• Monochrome
• B – Quartet
• The Analog Girl
• Zero Sequence
• Fishtank
• Pervy Boy
• and many more local bands

On top of the great music, IGNITE! Music Festival 2010 help to promote good clauses of “Compassion” together with Animal Concerns Research & Education Society, Association for Persons with Special Needs, Children’s Cancer Foundation, Lions Befrienders, Operation Smile and the festival’s adopted charity.

For those who are fascinated by the anime characters or wanted to see so many cute characters come alive, here is your chance.  The Singapore Cosplay Club presents 2010 COSFEST IX – LET’S MAKE FRIENDS! 

The Asia Cosplay Meet is a gathering of Asia’s best cosplayers coming together to compete for the title of Number One Asia Cosplayer.   Countries involved in the Asia Cosplay Meet are Korea, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

Come and support your favorite anime character and support the competition and watch them parade around Downtown East!

Singapore River Festival 2010

For those who have not been to the Singapore River, this is your last chance! Head down to the Singapore River to join in the Singapore River Festival which  have nine nights of great music, Bumboat parades, fashion shows, spectacular performances, live music, aerial shows,  non-stop partying and more taking place on its riverbanks every night.

Venue: Singapore River from Boat Quay and Empress Place to Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay.

Singapore International Water Festival 2010

For: Whole Family 

The Singapore International Water Festival 2010 returns with lots more action and activities that guaranteed to keep you busy and brimming with excitement for this weekend.

Take part in dragon-boating and canoeing competitions, enjoy water sport demonstrations, cultural performances and Take part in a video competition and enjoy Row by the bay.  You stand a chance to win more than $10,000 in cash and prizes.
